Could you tell something about yourself, what do you or, where are you from?
Hello! I am Gabriele Ansaldo and I am originally from Italy. I moved to the Netherlands two years ago to pursue my studies. I am currently studying Industrial Engineering at the University of Groningen. However, as a side job and also as a hobby, I take photos and make videos. I’ve been interested in both science and arts since I was small, and that’s the main reason why on one side I study engineer and on the other I still go after photography.
What is your link with watches?
I never really was into watches, and probably I can’t consider myself an expert in the field. However, I like to wear a good looking watch, as probably everyone does. Since that I decided to start photographing my own watch, and never stopped. That’s where my relationship with watches and later with Eza started.
How did you get in touch with Eza Watches?
More or less two years ago, when I first moved to the Netherlands. I decided that it was time for me to try to create content for some companies. Therefore, translating my hobby of photography and videography into an actual job. I randomly bumped into Eza watches. I’ve loved to photograph my personal watch and so I felt pretty confident I could work with them. In fact, I decided to send an email to Adriaan in order to try to collaborate. His reply was immediate, and we were both really excited to work together. Since then we kept in touch and created some very good content of course with their amazing watches.
What are your plans for the future?
My plans for the future don’t go to far away. For now my goal is to graduate and do my master somewhere outside the Netherlands. However at the same time as a photographer I love travelling, therefore I will also follow this dream of travel to as many places as I can. But we will see what the future will have to offer. For now I enjoy and take full advantage of my lucky life!
